Our building:
Our building from the back--you can see why it's called "Harborview"...
It is right on the Harborwalk:
The main entrance to the Navy Yard--about a five minute walk from us:
The USS Constitution is also permanently docked here: (they sail it once a year on the 4th of July)
More on rich history--this building is literally right across the street from us:
The view of Boston from the Navy Yard:
The edge of Charlestown--right on the other side of the Leonard Zakim Bridge: (you can see how close we live to the TD Garden!)
I love this bridge so much, here's another picture. We see it everyday--I'm going to miss it. :-(
If you've never been to the Charlestown Navy Yard--definitely visit the next time you're in Boston. It's absolutely gorgeous. If you can wait, hopefully we'll be back in three years permanently, and then you'll have a place to stay! :-)
Until then, packing has begun for NYC. Upper West Side, we'll see you in 2 weeks!
