This was the first time I watched the Oscar nominations live--I'm really rooting for Sandra Bullock. I've heard her main competition is Meryl Streep--I haven't seen Julie & Julia, so I can't really comment. However, I REALLY like Sandra Bullock, and The Blind Side is fantastic. (If you haven't seen it, go!) :-) Also, there was some cheering from the press when her name was announced as a nominee--apparently I'm not the only one who loves her. On a side note, can you believe she's 45?? Gorgeous. Seriously.
Interestingly enough, this is the first year that there are 10 nominations for best picture! With that, The Blind Side also picked up a nomination for best picture. (More cheering from the press on this one as well!) Yay!
